Entrance Exam in India	There are no entrance examinations in India like IELTS/SAT, etc. NEET qualification is a must for Indian students.
Age	The student must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.
Board	The candidate must have completed class 12th from a regular and recognised board.
Marks for General Category students	The student must have an aggregate of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
Marks for Other Category students	The candidate must have an aggregate of at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
NEET	You need to qualify NEET exam for admission in any of the MCI approved medical universities of Russia. NEET result is valid for 3 years for MBBS abroad from 2018 onwards.
Passport	The student must hold a valid passport.

Siberian State Medical University Russia Admission Process

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters-

• The first semester starts on 1st September and ends in late January followed by 2 weeks of vacations
• The second semester starts in mid-February and ends in late June followed by 2 months of holidays – July and August.

In their official website, the university has written that they don’t provide a place for students in the campus dormitories. Instead, the university provides apartments nearby university with a sharing of 2 people. The usual cost of the apartments can be USD 1,500 per year. 

The university stated that the apartments come furnished but make sure to check with the owners beforehand.

This eradicated the problem of students feeling uneasy and exposed in the university hostels and they can now live near the university in their own apartments for a minimum fee.
