• The university offers a 6-year MD degree which is equivalent to an MBBS degree in India. The course structure is divided into 5 years of theoretical training and 1-year apprenticeship.

MBBS from Altai State Medical University Documents Required

The university has separate faculties-

Altai State Medical University Hostel Facility

Other than these faculties, there are 3 hostels in the heart of the university. The foreign students get an exclusive hostel building. All the hostel buildings are guided 24 hours and are said to be very safe.

All three hostels have kitchens, bathrooms, study rooms and access to hot and cold water throughout the year. During the winters, the hostel buildings are centrally heated. 

 

The campus also has recreation areas, a gym and sports facilities. The library is quite big and is said to have 3,00,000 books. But, not everyone prefers the uneasiness and minimum privacy of hostels. They usually abort the idea of the hostel and go out on their own to search for an apartment. And, you can always share that apartment with a familiar friend or a trusted senior.

As per the website 4icu.org, Altai State Medical University’s world ranking is 5,559 and the country’s rank is 238 as of 11 July 2022.

However, as stated by Global Medical Foundation on several occasions, these world rankings have no relevance when selecting the medical university for MBBS abroad. The ranking which Indian students should be checking is the MCI result. MCI Passing Percentage is not available from this university.
