To study MBBS in Ukraine, the eligibility criteria are less when compared to many other European countries. There is no separate entrance exam to study for MBBS in Ukraine. However, you are required to qualify the NEET exam. The validity of the NEET result is 3 years starting in 2018 for taking admission abroad. If you have 50% marks in 12th and you have qualified NEET, then you will get admission in Ukraine. However, there are some universities such as Bogomolets National Medical University which demand a higher percentage in class 12th marks from Indian students. The eligibility criteria for almost all the universities in Ukraine remains the same. However, the percentage required in class 12th is higher for some universities.
The following is the minimum MBBS in Ukraine eligibility criteria for admission of an Indian student in a medical university in Ukraine:
- There is no entrance exam in India like IELTS/SAT, etc.
- The student must be 17 years plus as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.
- The student must have completed class 12th from a regular board.
- The student must have an aggregate of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject if the student is from the General category.
- The student must have an aggregate of at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject if the student is from SC/ST/OBC.
- You need to clear NEET from 2019 onwards for admission in any country in abroad.
- The student must have cleared all exams in class 12th.
Apart from the minimum MBBS from Ukraine eligibility criteria as stated above, every university has its own admission criteria regarding the marks required in class 12th. This criterion can change from time to time.

Ternopil State Medical University 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. English Passed.
Odessa National Medical University 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. English Passed.
Lviv National Medical University 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. English Passed. Cannot apply if you are 23 or more years old.
Poltava State Medical University 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. English Passed.
Bukovinian National Medical University 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. English Passed.
Even though the eligibility criteria is fixed, in some cases, students can still get admission in a medical university in Ukraine if the difference between the required marks and the actual marks in not very high. For eg, in the case of Vinnitsa National Medical University, if a student has good marks in two of the subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and has 49 marks in one of these subjects, there is still a chance that the university will provide admission.
