In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has changed its image from a country with low tuition fee to a country with high standard education. A few years ago, pursuing an MBBS in Kyrgyzstan was not seen as a favorable choice but now, studying MBBS in Kyrgyzstan is a great option. However, not every university is a good choice. There are some good options whereas some options are not at all good. This is because many new universities have come up in the last few years. It is important that a student selects one of the top-universities only like the International Medical University. Shobhit Jayaswal of Global Medical Foundation has visited Kyrgyzstan multiple times and we have sent 100+ students to study MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. Many of the students sent by us have cleared FMGE and some have even cleared USMLE. We would strongly advice students to take the guidance of Global Medical Foundation for university selection and apply through us for a hassle free and guaranteed admission process. Central Asia is home to Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyz (the native language) and Russian (official) are the two official languages of Kyrgyzstan. The country’s currency is called Som (KGS). Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s capital city, is home to universities like the International Medical University, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), Asian Medical Institute, Bishkek International Medical Institute (BIMI) and Avicenna International Medical University. MBBS in Kyrgyzstan is one of the most affordable options in the world, and many students choose to study there. In addition, the Kyrgyzstan Som is almost comparable to the Indian Rupee. Most other nations’ exchange rates are more expensive than this one. Studying MBBS in Kyrgyzstan is quite affordable. If you plan, a round-trip flight from Delhi to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, costs about ₹30,000-40,000. Direct flights are available between Delhi and Bishkek which takes only 3 hours.

In 2024, the tuition fee for an MBBS in Kyrgyzstan will start at as low as ₹12.60 lakhs for the whole course of study. Every year, more and more Indian students come to study in Kyrgyzstan. According to the latest data, 17.94% (2,017/11,243) of students passed the FMGE screening test in 2023. This outcome surpasses that of countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Bulgaria. In 2022, the results were good too, with 20.42% (1,365 out of 6,683) of students passing the FMGE. In both years, the FMGE results have been nearly on par with the students who graduated from Russia. Therefore, we can safely say that medical education in Kyrgyzstan is good.
