Kazakh-Russian Medical University is an MCI and WHO recognised medical university. It is located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Kazakh-Russian Medical University started teaching students in 1992. It was initially known as Kazakh Medical Institute (1992-2005) and then Kazakhstan Medical University (2005-2010). In late 2010, the university was renamed as Kazakh-Russian Medical University. KRMU is a private university. The university has more than 200 teachers a large base of foreign students including students from India. KRMU focuses on giving the best focus on individual students and for this reason, the small size is kept between 6-10.
The course duration is 5 years and the entire course will be taught in the English language. Learning the local language is compulsory for patient interaction and also for interacting with the locals. The name of the degree is MD Physician which is equivalent to MBBS in India. Eligibility Criteria for Indian students
Eligibility criteria for admission in Kazakh-Russian Medical University, MBBS in Kazakhstan for Indian students:
Entrance Exam in India You don't have to qualify any entrance such as IELTS/SAT, etc.
Age The student must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.
Board The candidate must have completed class 12th from a regular and recognised board.
Marks for General Category students The student must have an aggregate of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
Marks for Other Category students The candidate must have an aggregate of at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
NEET You need to qualify NEET from 2018 onwards for admission in abroad. NEET result is valid for 3 years from 2018 onwards for MBBS abroad admission.

Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is provided to all the students. The rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities and are fully furnished. Currently, the students are staying in the turkish hostel but the university is opening a new hostel for the upcoming batches. The hostels are secured and are on sharing basis.
Indian Mess Facility
Indian food is available to the students as there is an Indian mess available at Kazakh-Russian Medical University. Food is provided 3 times a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals include rice, roti, pulses, vegetables etc., all prepared by Indian cooks.
Screening Test Coaching
Clearing the screening test (FMGE or NEXT) is always the biggest concern of every student and their parents. It is essential that students get dedicated coaching for the screening test. Your MBBS degree from abroad won’t mean anything unless you clear the screening test in India. To help the students with this, every student who takes admission in Kazakh-Russian Medical University will be provided with Screening Test coaching right from the 1st year. Indian teachers will go to the university each year and provide coaching to the Indian students. Coaching will also be provided to the students in India during summer break. Admission Process
For getting the admission letter from Kazakh-Russian Medical University, the following documents are needed to be submitted to Global Medical Foundation:
