Nantong University History
The idea of building the establishment of this institution was proposed in 1912. The university was successfully built by the collaboration of Nantong Medical Specialized School and Nantong Textile Specialized School. This move was led by a leading educator and industrialist Zhang Jian.
The year 2004 brought the expansion of Nantong University. Various schools like Nantong Medical College and Nantong Institue of Technology were added to the university. The golden teaching techniques and principles adopted by the institution have aided it in reaching this milestone. It is counted amongst the key universities of Jiangsu province.

Nantong University Admission Process
• Step 1 – Send scan copies of class 10th and 12th mark sheet, Registration Fee Payment Receipt, ID and Address Proof, Parents Consent Letter, NEET Result
• Step 2 – Receive the Admission Letter within 10-30 days from the application date.
• Step 3 – After the application of JW202, the JW202 letter will be received within 15-20 days from the date of application.
• Step 4 – Apply for the Chinese Study Visa after completing steps 2 and 3. Visa processing time is 7-10 days.
• Step 5 – After receiving the Study Visa, students can fly to their destination.

FMGE Passing Percentage
FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination. Students who have completed their MBBS in China, or from any other foreign country are supposed to appear for this exam. It is conducted by NBE i.e. National Board of Examination. Foreign Indian Medical Graduates who want to practice in India need to clear this exam. This exam has been replaced by NEXT. Those students who take admission in India or abroad from 2020 onwards will appear for NEXT. FMGE will be till 2022.
