MBBS in Poland is in high demand, but the cost of studying there is a major roadblock for Indian students. Poland is a developed, beautiful country and is a part of the European Union. As a member of the European Union (EU), Poland offers a unique charm as a study-abroad destination for MBBS students. Indian students looking to settle in the European Union are more inclined to secure admission to countries like Poland. There are 27 WHO-recognised universities in Poland where MBBS can be studied. Global Medical Foundation strongly urges that only the students looking to settle in the EU should sought out admission in Poland as it is not clear weather Poland’s MBBS program fulfils all the rules mentioned under NMC’s Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations. For admission, the universities will check the student’s performance in class 12th & NEET and will also conduct their entrance exam/interview.

In reality, there are not many takers for MBBS in Poland from India due to its high cost. The most popular and affordable destinations in the European Union are Bulgaria and Romania. Why don’t many Indian students choose to study MBBS in Poland? Some of the major reasons include –
- Higher eligibility criteria
- Very high fees, the budget will be out of reach for most students. For example, the tuition fee at the Medical University of Białystok is approximately ₹90 lakh (total). Food/hostel/travelling/admission expenses are extra.
- No availability of the Indian mess facility
- No Indian community in the university
- Difficult visa and admission process
- Alternate options are available in the European Union, at a cheaper cost
