Volgograd State Medical University Russia Admission Process
The academic year is divided into 2 semesters-
- The first semester starts on 1st September and ends in late January followed by 2 weeks of vacations
- The second semester starts in mid-February and ends in late June followed by 2 months of holidays – July and August.

Hostel Facility at Volgograd State Medical University
According to their official website, the Volgograd State Medical University has 3 hostels and apartments for international and local students. The hostels are separated for boys and girls and the hostel for International students is slightly different from local ones.
The hostel is 24 hours guarded and the students get a bed, a study table and a chair and bathroom facility. The students get hot water throughout the day along with access to the gym, recreation area and food in the mess.
2 or 3 students maximum can share the room and the hostel rooms are fully ventilated, furnished and heated. The bathrooms are separated for the students and internet facility is provided on every floor. Staying in a hostel can come with some difficulties like shared bathrooms and minimum to zero privacy.
If by any chance, the hostels are fully booked for new students, there is also a facility run by administrative staff where a student can rent an apartment with the same cost.
