The clinical teaching at Tianjin Medical University consists of –

The total duration of studying MBBS in China is 6 years. The same is mentioned in the admission letters, you will see that the duration mentioned is of 6 years. This duration is a 5 +1 year system wherein the last year is the internship. The students who study at Tianjin Medical University have to do their internship in China only. The good thing is that the internship done in China is recognised by almost all the state medical councils in India. In recent years, some medical councils like Haryana Medical Council have refused to accept the internship done in China.

In case the medical council in India does not validate the internship done in China, the course duration will increase to 7 years.
