FMGE Passing Percentage
FMGE or MCI Screening Test is the licensing exam that students have to give after completing MBBS in abroad. You will only get a license in India if you clear FMGE. This exam will soon be replaced by NEXT which will be both a licensing exam as well as the exam to get a PG seat in India. Even the students who study MBBS in India will have to give NEXT. Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria for South Kazakhstan Medical Academy admission of an Indian student:
Entrance Exam in India You don't have to qualify any entrance such as IELTS/SAT, etc.
Age The student must be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of the year in which the admission is being taken.
Board The candidate must have completed class 12th from a regular and recognised board.
Marks for General Category students The student must have an aggregate of at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
Marks for Other Category students The candidate must have an aggregate of at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must have English as a compulsory subject.
NEET You need to qualify NEET from 2018 onwards for admission in abroad. NEET result is valid for 3 years from 2018 onwards for MBBS abroad admission.
Entrance Exam by the university The university will conduct an entrance exam.
South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Admission
For South Kazakhstan Medical Academy admission, you first need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as stated above. The sessions start in September-October every year and the best time to apply for admission is June-July. University generally starts to issue the admission letters in the month of June. Students from all over India can apply through Global Medical Foundation as the entire admission process is online and does not require you to come to Delhi.
