Kazakh National Medical University is a WHO-recognised university located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The duration for completing MBBS from Kazakhstan is 5 years. However, as per the new rules by NMC, you must do 1-year of internship in Kazakhstan and another year of internship in India.

The medium of instruction for the entire coure will be English. However, it is compulsory to learn the local language and it will be taught as a part of the curriculum. You don’t have to pay any extra charges for this. It is importnat to learn the local language as you will need to understand it during hospital visits. Moreover, it will help you in day to day activities like shopping, taking cab, etc.
