At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is whether you managed to clear FMGE/NEXT or not. The passing percentage from GSMU has been low.

Which university has a good FMGE result in Belarus if not GSMU?

The harsh reality is that none of the 4 MCI recognised medical universities have a good FMGE result. Following is the MCI Screening Test passing percentage after MBBS in Belarus between 2015-18:

⇒ Belarusian State Medical University – 3.85%
⇒ Gomel State Medical Institute – 9.46%
Grodno State Medical University – 13.13%
⇒ Vitebsk Medical University – 5.74%

What are the better alternatives?

There are no clear advantages of studying in Belarus over countries such as Ukraine or Russia. It is a country which is being promoted in India by a few agents/consultants who want to earn some extra money at the expense of your future. Honestly, this is not an option that solves any drawbacks of studying MBBS in Russia or Ukraine.

The better option is MBBS in Ukraine or Russia. We won’t say that every university in Ukraine or Russia is very good for Indian students. But some are excellent options. You can get in touch with us at 9999404348 to get personalised counselling for MBBS abroad.
