History of Caucasus International University
The foundation of Caucasus International University began as a medical institution in the year 1995. Due to this, the institute was initially called “Clinitsist”. The well-established infrastructure and expert faculty team of the university allowed it to get accreditation from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Georgia in the same year itself.
In the year 2005, the university received other accreditations from the Higher Education Council of Georgia. After this year, the university got its official name by its new founders. Since then, the university has served Bachelors, Masters, and doctoral courses in other disciplines also (other than medicine).
As per the latest accreditation of the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement, Georgia, the university has been providing a total of 30 Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral degrees to students throughout the world. As per the latest data provided by the university, it has admitted around 7,400 students. Many Indian students have also been pursuing their MBBS in Georgia from this university.
Duration of MBBS at Caucasus International University?
The MBBS degree of India is equivalent to the “One Cycle Education Programme in General Medicine” of Caucasus International University. What is the Admission Process?
1st Phase
1. Step First: Send the soft copies of the documents to Global Medical Foundation –

- NEET qualified result of the current or the previous 2 years
2. Step Second: After getting the soft copies of the above-mentioned documents, the University will issue a Conditional Offer Letter within 48 hours.
3. Step Third: The applicant will be invited to attend the Skype Video Interview to check his/her English language knowledge.
4. Step Fourth: Once the applicant receives the conditional offer letter and clears the above-mentioned Skype video interview, he/she has to accept the admission offer by paying an initial tuition and registration fees. Upon confirming the initial fee, the admission procedure of the applicant will begin.

FMGE Passing Percentage
FMGE stands for Foreign Medical Graduates Examination. Students who have completed their MBBS in abroad are supposed to appear for this exam.
