The university was founded in the year 1964 and is a public university. In its beginning, the Astana Medical College was started as a Medical Institution. The Medical Institute was given the status of an Academy in 1997. In January 2009, it gained university status. About Astana
Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan. In 2017, the estimated population of Astana was about 10 lakh people.
